YOUR SERUM FOUNDATION

Our Booster Plus Serum features methylene blue, a powerful antioxidant that enhances mitochondrial function, aiding in the achievement of an even skin tone. It also promotes the production of collagen and elastin. In addition, it blends Vitamin B3, stabilized Vitamin C, and a complex of Hyaluronic Acid that includes both low and regular molecular weights, to moisturise and provide hydration to the skin.

Methylene Blue, Niacinamide, Stabilised Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid Complex serum.

Water, Glycerine, Propandiol, Niacinamide, Ethyl Ascorbate, Phenoxyethanol, Methylthioninium chloride, LMW Hyaluronic acid, HMW Hyaluronic acid, Sodium benzoate.

Methylene Blue is known to enhance mitochondrial activity in skin cells and serves as a potent antioxidant. Research findings indicated that MB enhances skin viability, aids in wound healing, and boosts skin hydration along with dermis thickness. Analysis of gene expression revealed that treatment with MB modified the expression of certain extracellular matrix proteins in the skin, specifically increasing elastin and collagen 2A1—both crucial elements for maintaining healthy skin. Overall, our research implies that MB holds significant promise for skin care.

Niacinamide, commonly referred to as Vitamin B3, has been shown in research to aid in the production of ceramides, collagen, keratin, hyaluronic acid, and fatty acids within the skin. This contribution enhances the skin’s barrier and structural integrity while minimizing moisture loss.

When niacinamide is applied topically to mature skin, it enhances the texture of the skin’s surface, smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. Additionally, it mitigates issues such as skin yellowing, red blotches on the face, and pore size by lowering the secretion of sebum.

Vitamin C, backed by research, its advantages encompass enhancing skin brightness, evening out skin tone, calming irritation, and improving elasticity. It achieves these effects by neutralising damaging stressors that can harm the skin’s supporting structures while also promoting collagen synthesis.

Hyaluronic Acid – A key characteristic of HA is its remarkable capacity to retain water and maintain tissue hydration. It can absorb water equivalent to hundreds of times its own weight, which is particularly significant when considering aging, as youthful skin is defined by its moisture levels. As we grow older, the degradation of HA leads to diminished moisture in the skin, resulting in a loss of elasticity and firmness, which contributes to sagging and wrinkles. Furthermore, skin-identical components like HA not only enhance collagen synthesis but also fortify and support the skin’s barrier function. Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid features smaller molecules compared to standard hyaluronic acid. The larger molecules of regular hyaluronic acid remain on the skin’s surface, providing hydration there. In contrast, reducing the size of hyaluronic acid molecules allows for deeper penetration into the upper layers of the skin, yielding visibly improved results. We suggest utilising both types for optimal benefits!

Gently apply a few drops to face and neck after cleansing in the morning and/or at night.

Pro tip – for extra benefits apply a few drops before your microcurrent, RF, electroporation treatments.
